Warranty Policy - ActDesignShop
At ActDesignShop, we strive to offer products of the highest quality. However, we understand that there may be situations where products do not function as expected. Therefore, we offer a warranty on our products, with terms that may vary depending on the product category. Below is our warranty policy for more information.
General Warranty Conditions
Our warranty applies to products that are defective due to a manufacturing defect or material flaw within the warranty period. We do not offer a warranty for damage caused by external factors (e.g., incorrect use, impact or fall damage, or natural wear and tear).
Beanbags (Zitzakken)
Warranty on Beanbags
The beanbag warranty applies to defects caused by manufacturing errors, such as breakage or damage that occurs without external influences.
Damage caused by tension on the seams, wear and tear from intensive use, broken stitches or tears caused by normal use are not covered by the warranty. This is considered usage damage, which is normal for beanbags over time and is not a manufacturing error.
Damage caused by holes or broken stitches is not covered by the warranty, unless this is reported within 14 days of receipt of the product. Beanbags must be returned in their original condition (without holes or tears) for warranty claims.
Beanbag Fillings
The filling of the beanbag is a consumable product and is not covered by warranty after 3 months.
We always provide enough filling for the first 3 months of use and often a little more for optimal comfort.
Keep the filling, as it may compress or settle over time. Replacing the filling is not covered under warranty, but it can easily be done with extra filling available in our webshop.
Hanging Lamps (Hanglampen)
Warranty on Hanging Lamps
Our hanging lamps are carefully inspected for manufacturing and material defects before shipping. Defects caused by manufacturing errors are covered by the warranty.
Damage from moisture, water damage, fall or impact damage, or external factors is not covered by the warranty.
If your hanging lamp shows a defect within the warranty period, please contact our customer service for further instructions.
General Exclusions from Warranty
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- External factors, such as impact, fall, water damage, or damage caused by incorrect use.
- Normal wear and tear from use of the product.
- Improper maintenance or failure to follow care and usage instructions.
- Loss or damage from careless use of the product.
Repairs and Replacements
Repairs
If a defect occurs within the warranty period, please contact us. We will assess the defective product and, if possible, repair it.
Replacements
If the defect is not repairable, we will offer a replacement product (if in stock). Replacements will only be processed after inspecting the returned product.
Returns
Returns must be reported within 14 days of receiving the product. Please use the return form on our website to start the return process.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or damaged upon receipt.
